The brand's soul lies in bridging contemporary aesthetics with ancient indigenous craftsmanship. The pieces, designed by the sibling duo, are inspired by cultural movements that echoed within society, such as the American Abstract Expressionist movement of the 1950’s.

The same time, the pieces pay homage to the Wounaan indigenous community and their Werregue technique. Caimana intends to revitalize the Wounaan craft by implementing their technique into contemporary designs.

The brand closely works with communities from the pacific regions of Colombia that were direct victims of the armed comflict of the country. Through the jewelry and pieces, these communities are finding an opportunity to further develop their professional paths while preserving their craft.
